Jogger Pads

Jogger pads, designed with a cupped heel, lateral and medial flanges, are manufactured from top grain cowhide. A 1/4” thickness of STP® under the heel provides excellent shock absorption and lessens the strain on the Achilles’ tendon. For maximum forefoot freedom, jogger pads are fitted posterior to the metatarsal heads. Individual requirements can be met with simple adjustments.

Longitudinal Arch Supports

A molded cowhide shell with a machine skived sponge rubber pad. An economical molded support for the longitudinal arch.

Sneaker Molds

Sneaker molds are made of composite leather which provides added support to all types of footwear. They are perspiration resistant. They are constructed with medial and lateral firm counters with heel cup for rear foot control. They can be adjusted for individual requirements by wedging. Maximum support at rear foot and arch: complete flexibility at forefoot. Fitted well back of the met heads thus preventing any restrictions to play and action.

Cowhide shell, medium flange, cork inlay heel to ball. Contour buffed on underside for additional support. Highest elevation under longitudinal area. This appliance can be dispensed as is, or adjusted for individual requirements.

Sherform Laminates

Multi-density laminated inlays are available in a variety of materials. Combinations of which provide an ideal match for the patients’ needs. They may be customized by heating, grinding and / or the addition of padding. All have deep heel seats and medial and lateral flanges.

Model 4100

Medium Pink Plastazote® over a urethane base. For use when a soft inlay is most appropriate, will
not “bottom out”.

Model 4200

A triple laminate with Plastazote® on an EVA base. The middle layer is STP® a medical grade microcellular urethane foam which has excellent shock absorbing characteristics.

Model 4300

The firmest of these molded inlays is constructed of two layers of EVA with a middle layer of shock absorbing STP®. These will not “bottom out”. Ideal for accommodative sports inlays.
