Sroufe Healthcare Products, Inc. introduces its removable, bi-component PneuGel™ Back Support which helps facilitate healing and relieve lower back pain following an injury or after surgery. The back support features Sroufe’s patent-pending, removable air/gel bladder.

Sroufe’s bi-component PneuGel technology has a removable plastic bladder containing a gel chamber backed by an air chamber. Variable amounts of air can be pumped into the air bladder to match patients’ comfort level or compression requirements. The bladder must be inflated prior to attaching it to the elastic back support. The PneuGel Back Support fits Sroufe’s 1350 and 1350 X-Long back supports.

The gel bladder on the back support may be removed and chilled for use as a cold pack to help relieve lower back pain. Sroufe suggests that the PneuGel Back Support be worn over a shirt when used as a cold pack.

Sroufe’s PneuGel Back Support is available in hospital and retail packaging.
